Borough Gallery and Studio, Founder and Director, February 2009-Present
Developed a space to serve as a community arts center for local artists to exhibit and create their work. Serve as director for 3 full time artists within Studio. Create and curate local events and exhibitions to shed light on emerging area artists and provide them with platform to display their unique vision and voice; while in turn highlighting Burlington’s South End as an area where art and culture has a profound influence and impact. Responsible for all marketing, advertising, fund raising, and official press releases. Exhibitions and events include group shows involving Vermont and New York artists, solo shows, visual and literary artistsmeetings, participation in community-wide art events, and individual and group classes. .

Cambrea Stone Gallery, Intern / Assistant, November 2007-January 2009
Served as personal assistant, curator and sales director for busy local gallery and personal artist studio. Managed website, online galleries and created monthly newsletters. Arranged and executed exhibitions both locally and in New York City. Organized business tasks including packing and shipping, gallery appointments, sales, advertisement, giclee reproduction, national and international networking. Managed inventory and target sales goals.

Teachers Assistant, ART 221 Introduction to Painting, 2007 Academic Year
Presented the class with lectures on modern and contemporary art. Demonstrated proper execution and exhibition of individual works. Assessed progress and growth of individual students. Held active, independent meetings with students to motivate and inspire as well as resolve problems.

Tutor, ART 161 Introduction to Drawing/ART 255 Introduction to Ceramics, 2007 Academic Year
Held active, individual meetings with students to resolve key technical and creative issues. Utilized knowledge in subject matter with lectures on relevant history and proper researching techniques to provide insightful council.

Revised and edited artist statements, press releases, exhibition catalogue and invitations. Served as liasion between artists and exhibition executives.

Publicity Committee, Senior Art Exhibition, 2007 Academic Year
Served as creative director behind press releases and local advertisement while presenting weekly updates on projected costs and effects on budget. Represented Plattsburgh State University Senior Art Exhibition 2007 in various local newspapers and meetings, including fundraising events.

Installation Committee, Senior Art Exhibition 2007 Academic Year
Conducted research on contemporary art exhibitions and installations. Charged with the task of determining a common theme among 26 artists. Planned, arranged and executed a layout to coordinate between seven different mediums.

Costello Studio / CSI Designs Inc., Intern, June 2005-March 2006
Served as personal assistant, office assistant and studio artist in fast paced New York City studio and showroom. Participated in daily operations including sales, public relations, press material, on-sight installations and studio maintenance. Assisted in creating studio layout for newly renovated workspace and office, and separately created and organized showroom. Participated in restoration of antique paintings and furniture designs.
